ZeusLearn ("ZeusLearn", "we", "us", or "our") provides an AI-powered study assistant that turns documents, YouTube videos, and other study materials into summaries, notes, flashcards, and quizzes (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
This policy applies to this website (zeuslearn.com) and to the ZeusLearn application (app.zeuslearn.com).
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: name, email address, and authentication details when you sign up, including via Google sign-in, which we process through Firebase Authentication.
- Content you provide: documents, PDFs, images, YouTube links, notes, flashcards, quizzes, chat messages, and calendar data you upload to or create within the Service.
- Payment information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers.
- Usage and device data: pages visited, features used, browser type, and similar technical data, collected via Google Analytics and PostHog.
- Referral data: if you arrive via an affiliate or referral link, we use PromoteKit to attribute the referral.
- Cookies: small files used to keep you signed in and to understand how the Service is used. See Section 5.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- To generate AI-powered summaries, notes, flashcards, quizzes, and other study materials from the content you submit.
- To process payments and manage subscriptions.
- To send transactional emails (e.g. account, billing, and support messages).
- To monitor, analyze, and improve the Service.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud or abuse.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. AI Processing and Third-Party Service Providers
To generate study materials, the content you upload or paste is sent to third-party AI providers (including OpenAI) for processing. We also rely on the following service providers, each of which processes data on our behalf under their own privacy and security terms:
- Firebase / Google Cloud — authentication, database, and file storage.
- OpenAI — AI processing of uploaded content.
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- PostHog and Google Analytics — product and website analytics.
- PromoteKit — affiliate referral tracking.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account and content for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual documents, notes, or other content at any time from within the Service, and you can request deletion of your entire account from the account settings menu or by contacting us at the email below.
6. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. International Data Transfers
Our service providers may process and store data in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards to protect data transferred internationally.
9. Data Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
